Late May in the mountains means nothing is predictable.

In Episode 4 of the Unknown Enduro Project, weather becomes the defining factor. Rain turns to snow. Snow gives way to brief moments of sun. At elevation, conditions change fast — and every decision matters.

We set out for the first of two planned riding days with one clear objective: reach the peak. Against shifting conditions, we accomplish our goal. But after another stormy night and more snow in the forecast, we’re forced to make a call.

Stay and risk getting trapped by accumulating snow — or leave early, knowing the mission is complete.

This episode isn’t about pushing limits.
It’s about reading the mountains, trusting the team, and understanding that sometimes the smartest move is knowing when to walk away.
