in this video I showed the steps and procedures necessary to replace the alternator Honey Ford 5.4 L and 4.6 L engine. This particular vehicle shown in the video is a Ford Expedition 2005. However the same procedures can be used for a Ford F-150. No special tools are required to make this repair however there are a few tips and tricks a show along the way. If you have a car like a Mustang, crown Vic, town car. The air intake and down bracket will appear different. Alternators and these vehicles can fail in various ways. In this video the alternator was over charging the batteries and voltage was reaching above 15 V. It is also important to test the charging voltage after the repair has been made.
