With backpacks on and hearts racing, we took on the steep uphill hike to Buscalan, pushing through exhaustion, laughter, and moments of doubt. Every step brought us closer—not just to our destination, but to each other.

✨Along the trail, we shared stories, jokes, and quiet moments of reflection. Strangers became friends. This journey strengthened our bond in ways we never expected, proving that the best adventures aren’t just about the place—but the people you experience it with 🤍

✨And then… we met her - Apo Whang-od!

✨Standing before the legendary mambabatok, the last traditional Kalinga tattoo artist, was a moment that left us speechless. The sound of the thorn tapping against skin, the scent of the ink, the stillness of the village — everything felt sacred. One by one, we received her signature three dots tattoo, a symbol of journey, bravery, and connection.
