In March 1957, William and Margaret Patterson disappeared from their home in El Paso, Texas — leaving everything behind including their beloved cat Tommy. The case took the city by storm and became one of the most infamous missing persons cases of the 20th century. There were strange letters, sightings of them from Florida to Los Angeles and Mexico, conflicting information from their friends and talk of involvement in the criminal underworld.

Why did these seemingly normal, affluent business owners vanish overnight and why did everyone around them seem so secretive? This is the story of the missing Pattersons…
