NIKKO Day Trip from Tokyo - Toshogu Shrine & Mysterious Kanmangafuchi Abyss | JAPAN

Nikko, Japan, is a small, serene, picturesque city nestled in the mountains and known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. It's most famous for the ornate Toshogu Shrine which is dedicated to Japan's first shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Visiting Nikko is easily done as a day trip from Tokyo. We took the Tobu Skytree line from Asakusa Station straight to Nikko and also purchased our World Heritage Nikko Pass tickets from there too.
