Protest In Rome | Thousands March In Rome Against War As City Calls For Gaza Ceasefire

Thousands marched through Rome on Saturday to protest against war and show solidarity with Palestinians. Led by activist Greta Thunberg and UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, demonstrators criticized Italy’s 2026 budget for prioritizing military spending and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Protesters waved Palestinian flags, condemning the ongoing conflict that began after Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack. Israel strongly denies allegations of genocide as global demonstrations continue.
