In this video, I'll cover how to modify the wiring of the power-folding mirrors (aftermarket or OEM Honda) to make them fit into your 2006-2011 Civic/CSX as cleanly and modularly as possible!
These mirrors can be had for between $150 NEW (Aftermarket) to $400 USED (OEM). The switch can be found for $20-$40.
Part 1: Mirror-side portion of the wiring
Part 2: Creation of a custom intermediate harness between the mirror wires and OEM door harness - NO CUTTING OF DOOR HARNESS REQUIRED!
Part 3: Installation of custom intermediate harness and removal/installation of the driver side view mirror
Part 4: Wire Routing through the doors and cabin
Part 5: Final connections, clean-up, and total satisfaction!
