Spanish MEP Irene Montero confronts Ursula von der Leyen on her inaction against Israel

“Can you imagine Israel burning your children alive?”

Spanish MEP Irene Montero confronted president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen about her inaction against Israel.
Montero accused von der Leyen of being the reason why Europe is “standing alongside the US as its main partner in supporting the terrorist state of Israel”.

She also urged von der Leyen to protect the Global Sumud Flotilla, arguing that the president of the European Commission is responsible for them risking their lives to get aid into Gaza.
