Just 10–20 minutes outside Rijeka, Šumski Dvor is a forest retreat where animals live in harmony and the focus is on education, therapy, and inclusion. We walked through the woods, connected with nature, and met some amazing animals — from horses to pigs.
Then we headed to Lovran, a charming medieval town by the Adriatic Sea. We wandered through narrow stone streets, enjoyed stunning sea views, and relaxed with a refreshing drink. Lovran is also the final stop of the famous Lungomare coastal path, which connects Volosko, Opatija, and Lovran.
