This is my Porsche 911 project car. I got this car originally because the Porsche 991 platform was one of the last generations that was advanced but still mechanically raw. It has a 3.8L flat 6 as do the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3RS but so does the Porsche 911 GT2RS however, that one has turbos. The GT3 is the entry level racetrack version of the Porsche 911 but the price is significantly higher than the lower trim level models. The 911 4S also has a 3.8 engine and with mods, it will have the same power, if not more power than the GT3 but also maintaining the Porsche adaptive AWD and some other luxury features. I really love the styling of the Porsche 911 GT2RS and lucky for me, Darwin Pro makes body panels that closely resemble my favorite look of the GT2RS. I already got the GT2RS rear hatch with wing but in this mini build series, it’s the front fenders and front bumper but also a full new wrap. All of this is done by myself in my home garage.
