In this video, we present our final year cybersecurity project titled “Federated Learning Based DDoS Attacks Detection in Large Scale Software-Defined Network (SDN)”.
The project addresses the growing challenge of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks in modern, large-scale Software-Defined Networks by leveraging Federated Learning (FL) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques.

🔐 Project Overview

Traditional centralized intrusion detection systems struggle with data privacy, scalability, and real-time response. To overcome these issues, our system adopts a federated learning architecture, enabling multiple SDN controllers to collaboratively train a global DDoS detection model without sharing raw network traffic data.
