Daryl Hannah then and now (1978 - 2025)

Daryl Hannah is an American actress and environmental activist whose career began with her debut in The Fury (1978). She rose to fame in the 1980s with iconic roles in Blade Runner (1982) as Pris and Splash (1984) as the mermaid Madison. She continued to build a diverse film career with notable roles in *Wall Street*, *Steel Magnolias*, and *Grumpy Old Men*.

In the 2000s, she expanded into directing and producing, creating documentaries and short films, including Strip Notes and Paradox (2018), which starred her husband, Neil Young. She also directed Coastal (2025), documenting Young’s concert tour.

Alongside her film work, Hannah is a committed environmentalist, known for her activism on climate issues, renewable energy, and conservation. She maintains a strong voice in environmental advocacy and continues to work on both artistic and ecological projects.
