Can College Students Serve? - Ohio Army National Guard

The Army National Guard allows you to go to college while you serve your state. Committing to the National Guard allows you to go to college, keep up with your civilian lifestyle, and maintain your sense of purpose.

The Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program is available to current and former members with qualifying deployment time.

The scholarship covers 100% of tuition charges for courses leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree, a diploma-granting nursing program, and approved trade certification, credential-certifying, or licensing programs at participating public colleges and universities.


The Ohio Army National Guard Scholarship will also pay the average cost of Ohio public university tuition to private universities in the state.
