A short walk east down Broadway beginning from Kearny and back via Washington St.. This area was once known as the "Barbary Coast" (a red-light district during the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries that featured dance halls, concert saloons, bars, jazz clubs, variety shows, and brothels).
