Optimised for Single Player & 2-3 Coop I guess
More enemies on each map
More ammo & health
Bombermen, Firecrackers, Larger Reptiloids, Lava Golems (like TFE/TSE)
Couple of variants of original enemies (E.G. Harpy firing rockets, because regular Harpies are pretty trash)
