How many mistakes can I possibly make with this smallmouth?
Gear:
My kayak is a Feelfree Moken 12.5 powered by a Torqeedo 1103 AC Ultralight motor.
Rod: I was throwing my squarebill with a Sixgill Kranken Medium rod paired with a LE Red Sixgill Hammar LE 6.5:1 baitcaster.
Strike King 1.5 squarebill natural perch color.
Upgraded hooks are KVD Mustad 2x shortshank treble size #4.
My measuring board is a KetchX Red. These boards are the industry standard and accepted in most (if not all) kayak fishing competitions.
I let the fish rest so that I could get an accurate measurement of length and weight by utilizing Fishing Works (previously CalCoast Fishing) Donkey Leash. I always try to get one more click before dropping the fish into the water. I practice the Catch. Photo. Release. (CPR) method for bass fishing.
My adventures are recorded via Tactacam Fish-i cameras powered by Zpro Lithium batteries.
