HD dash cam video of Woodward Ave north from Winder street in Detroit all the way to Pontiac and around the northern Woodward loop (aka Widetrack).
It’s an overcast and cold December 22, 2025 around 11:00 am as we begin by turning north onto Woodward Ave about one block north of Comerica Park and a block south of Little Caesars Arena. We’ll travel north through Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak, and Bloomfield Hills. It starts raining around Royal Oak. Just past South Blvd, in Pontiac, the road splits to form the “Widetrack loop.” Woodward actually splits and forms a one-way loop around the city. The one-way part of this section was formally called Widetrack Dr and still is by many long-time residents.
