iShowSpeed finally touched down in Nigeria—and DAY ONE was absolute madness.

From the moment Speed landed in Lagos, the internet exploded. Nigerian Twitter, Ghanaian Twitter, and the entire streaming world were locked in, watching every move he made. With Ghana potentially next on his tour, all eyes were on Nigeria to see what kind of welcome Speed would get.

And trust me… it was NOTHING like we expected.

Speed got a wild Lagos Island welcome, complete with gang-style handshakes, street chaos, and Lagos touts (Egbon Adugbos) surrounding him asking for money just moments after arrival. First impressions matter—and this one sparked major debate online.

Things took a surprising turn when Speed visited Freedom Park, a former colonial prison built in 1872, turning the stream unexpectedly educational.

Then came the Jollof test 🍚—where Speed officially admitted Nigerian Jollof tasted better than Senegal’s, instantly reigniting the Jollof Wars.

Chaos returned when Speed met a man claiming to be the strongest man in Nigeria, demanding $10,000 instead of the $1,000 Speed offered. After that, Speed tried Nigeria’s famous legwork dance and DJ Chicken’s moves—with hilarious results.

An intense moment followed when an angry Nigerian woman challenged Speed to a race, claiming to be the fastest woman in Nigeria. The confrontation was uncomfortable, dramatic, and… ended very badly for her.

Speed was later given an official Yoruba name—Mojọ́láolúwà, meaning “I enjoy wealth from God”—and to make the day even crazier, he hit 50 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS on YouTube the same day. Legendary.
