The Keepers feared the raw power of this magic and created a series of hidden trials and Pensive memories to guide future users.

The player must follow the Keepers' trials, learn about the tragic history of the magic, and discover how to properly manage it. This quest reveals that the Keepers sealed away a vast reservoir of Ancient Magic to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.

Key Plot Developments

The Journey: The player travels throughout the Highlands, surrounding villages like Hogsmeade, and deep within Hogwarts, solving puzzles, attending classes, and honing their spellcasting and potion-making skills.

The Allies: The player builds relationships with various students who have their own compelling storylines, including:

Natsai Onai (Gryffindor): Who is investigating the dark magic in the region.

Sebastian Sallow (Slytherin): Whose questline involves dangerously exploring the Dark Arts in an attempt to save his twin sister, potentially leading the player to learn the Unforgivable Curses.

The Climax: The plot culminates when Ranrok and his forces successfully breach the final repository where the Ancient Magic is sealed. The player, having completed the Keepers' trials, must confront Ranrok, who transforms into a powerful entity fueled by the magic he has stolen.
