UN warns South Sudan on brink of civil war as political tensions escalate

The UN says fighting in South Sudan has killed nearly 200 people since March, warning the country is on the brink of war. The violence has also displaced 125,000 people.
Tensions between the president and vice president have been growing for weeks and fierce battles have broken out in parts of the oil-rich Upper Nile State. Mediation teams from the region and the African Union have been denied access to the vice president, who's under house arrest.
