Strength and Speed Training for Soccer Players

In today's video we’ll show you a great soccer specific strength and speed interval workout. The workout will consist of 4 separate circuits. Each circuit will be different and include a weighted resistance exercise, a body weight resistance exercise, an explosive speed exercise and technical drills with the soccer ball. In the video we’ll be demonstrating the lifting portion with a barbell, but you can just as easily perform all of these movements with dumbbells. Each cuirits will take approximately a minute to complete and we recommend a recovery period of 60 sec in between circuits.
