Santa run 2025

Santa Run 2025 with the Bristol Morris Minor owners Club.
We all started our journey with a frosty but dry sunny day ahead. We met at various places along the way to drive in a convoy to the "Clevedon Classic cars and coffee” event, held there every month. We had a park up section in Queens Square for us to display our classic vehicles. After all of us having breakfast and staying there for two to three hours, chatting to plenty of intrested people, we then made our way through Portished and using the back roads towards the Clifton Suspension bridge to all drive across. From there it was up to the view point on the Clifton Downs.
After that, we drove to an Historical land mark in Bristol. Kings Weston House with sweeping views across the Bristol Channel. From there we drove through verious places to get back to Thornbury.
By then it was dusk enough for us to turn our festive lights we had added to our beloved Morris Minors which we then drove through the town with many people waving and cheering. After going around the circuit we then went to visit Alexandra Way. Residential Care Home, where quite a few of the residents came out to look and chat about the cars.
From there, it was a bit more darker now so, another drive up through Thornbury High Street, with all the festive lights of the town and our cars, to make our way for our final end point The Ship Inn at Alveston, where we all had an enjoyable evening meal together to finish off our enjoyable day.
