Part 2: Will The N54/6 Fit In This E30!? I Bet It Will!

In today’s episode we tackle the driveline fitment of the N54 and the GS6-53BZ 6 speed transmission. We’re going to get creative here, But don’t be tricked. This may signal a quick swap, having the N54 test fit in the 2nd episode already, but the devil is in the details and that takes the most time!! Today, we’ll remove the M20 and then set this puppy in, sans-oil pan and see where all of the interferences are between the N54 and the E30. This includes:
Above/Hood
Below/Subframe
Pass Side
Driver Side
In Front for Radiator/Fan
Near Firewall
I’m so excited to see where this project goes over the course of the next month or two. So buckle up as we remove an M20 in real time, assess the amount of work required to revive this N54, and throw it into position in the E30 Chassis.
