After a devastating fire destroyed several shops in Mungindi including the only supermarket, five women rallied to open a cafe in an old shed, bringing the unique bordertown a new sense of community. On top of a series of setbacks from drought to the Covid pandemic, it wasn't just bricks and mortar that needed rebuilding, but town spirit.
Landline's Courtney Wilson reports on the power of people in the bush.
