Been a while, but the motion doesn't stop.
Recently I've had some serious aggression issue in three of my favorite aquariums, providing me the ability to think fast and come up with solutions in real time.
It all started in my 75 gallon Red-Terror aquarium, where my female went absolute berserk. Thankfully I'm prepared for moments like these (not really a choice with 14 Aquariums housing all large and aggressive cichlids) and have a section of my fish room dedicated to quarantining and isolating fish.
I call it quarantine corner.
This challenge had several solutions. First I had to immediately re-locate my male Red-Terror. And that presented some challenges of its own. I ended up moving cichlids all around the fish room, but finally came to a solution that I'm satisfied with.
In today's video I will take you through all of the steps that I took to mitigate aggression, by taking advantage of the aquarium space available in my home, and making some pretty big changes in the fish room.
