Welcome to Part 3 and the final episode of our Spain at Christmas travel series 🇪🇸🎄 for Stop Stressing Start Living.
We begin in the breathtaking town of Altea, walking along its palm-lined beachfront before attempting the very steep climb up to the famous church on the hill. It was far more challenging than expected, physically taxing, and at one point we genuinely had to ask for help — a real and honest moment from our travels.
Next, we head to the visually stunning Villajoyosa, famous for its colourful houses lining the seafront. The vibrant colours, coastal views and relaxed atmosphere make it one of the most beautiful towns on Spain’s Costa Blanca. Thankfully, we even find an escalator to get back up the hill — a welcome surprise after Altea!
We also visit the famous chocolate museum, which was unbelievably busy and full of festive energy.
This final episode perfectly captures what slow travel is really like — beautiful moments, unexpected challenges, and finding joy in every step of the journey.
