In 1998 while in Duluth, MN on vacation, I caught a loaded Missabe ore train arriving at Dock #6 in Duluth. The power was than cut off the loaded train, and coupled to a train of empties to be taken back up Proctor Hill to Proctor, MN. Proctor Hill is about 7 miles long and has a ruling grade of 2.2%.
