In this video, I give an outline of the topic Science and Technology, also called "visions of the future" that is part of many English classes in Germany.
First, I will define this topic in the context of an English class.
Then, I will show how it is related to the topic of utopia and dystopia.
After that, I will focus on four different areas where developments in technology have or will have an effect on our society:
AI, artificial intelligence
genetic engineering
virtual realities
cyborgs & robotics
