Fulton Sheen (John 6, 51-53):
And now what is this bread which I am to give?
It is my Flesh, given for the life of the world.
Then the jews fell to disputing one with another
'How can this man give us his flesh to eat?'
Whereupon Jesus said to them:
'Believe me when I tell you this,
You can have no live in yourselves,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man
and drink his blood.'
Sacramentsdag is het patroonfeest van de Kapel van het Allerheiligste Sacrament in de Hemelstraat te Antwerpen.
Van zodra de Priesterbroederschap Sint-Pius X het klooster van de zusters van de Eucharistie in 1987 overgenomen heeft, heeft zij ieder jaar een H. Sacramentsprocessie georganiseerd.
