Der BAYERN-RTW, von Prototypen und allen Generationen

Der Bayern-RTW, der bayernweit einheitlich konzipierte Rettungswagen, ist schon ein Phänomen für sich. Abgesehen von den von den Berufsfeuerwehren / Werkfeuerwehren betriebenen Rettungswagen und einigen, wenigen Ausreißern ist ein RTW in der Stadt genauso wie einer auf dem Land, einer im Süden wie einer im Norden, einer vom Bayerischen Roten Kreuz wie einer von dem Maleser Hilfsdienst oder einem privaten Dienstleisters. Natürlich gibt es spezifische Anpassungen für EInsatzort und Zweck. Hier habe ich mal einen Überblick über die weite Palette der Bayern-RTW über die Jahre hinweg, u.a. auch mit Testfahrzeugen und solchen die aus der Reihe Tanzen. Im Video zu sehen:

BAVARIAN AMBULANCE

The so-called Bavarian Ambulance is a phenomenon. For longer than a decade the ambulances in the Free State of Bavaria, by land area the largest state in Germany, the ambulances are purchased in a uniform layout and design. Except for the few FD operated ambulances and even less other exceptions, the ambulances are the same all over the state, no matter if you are in an urban or rural environment, in the north or south, and no matter if it's operated by the Bavarian Red Cross, St. John or private EMS providers. Of course there are some extra adaptions depending on the purpose or environment it's used in, like heavy-duty units and some with AWD chassis. Over the years multiple generations of the Bavarian Ambulance were developed, keeping up with new generations of the chassis, new body layouts,
