Bridger Bay Campground is the main campground inside Antelope Island State Park. Most, if not all sites, look downhill towards the shore of the Great Salt Lake. The water's edge is within walking distance of the campground, but best beach access is a short drive (and walk) away.

We would say that this campground is very RV-centric. Most sites have extraordinarily long pull through drive ways, and beautiful sites with small pavilions to create shade in an otherwise landscape devoid of trees or any kind of shade.

For tent campers like us, the sites here do mainly show as suitable for tents, but its clear to us that is is a make-it-fit kind of situation. You can make it work, but, we would argue, it's a bit less than ideal for tent campers.

That said, there is a small campground called Ladyfinger that we did not film as part of this that may provide better options for tent campers.

Regardless, we had a fantastic time here, and the views were worth the "make-it-work" approach to tent camping, and we have nothing but good memories from this trip, so not trying to deter here.

The island itself (as we learned on our first visit) is full of wonders and history to explore, and we will be back to do all we missed on our short stay.

And, although water was shut off on the island during our stay for construction-related reasons, normally there are flushing toilets and even showers here, but there are also vault toilets as a back up too!
