Windsurfing fun from Grafham Water. Sunday 4th February was a deceptively windy day at Grafham with the forecast F5-6 winds not obvious from the launch area but with massive gusts coming through sporadically from the SW/W once out in the middle of the lake. Those of us heading out with the traditional fin opted for sail sizes ranging from 5.5 to 7.7m in size. I found myself very well powered up in the strongest gusts on my Fanatic Blast 115 and 5.5m rig, so happy not be trying to hold down anything bigger! As the afternoon progressed the conditions remained challenging but great fun. I decided to save myself for another day and came back in the film and capture the action.
