We’re jumping into the Scandinavian Defense, specifically the
Queen Check Gambit Trap (Mieses-Kotrč Variation).
The opening looks normal:
Book moves
An early queen check
Natural development
But here’s the problem —
that early queen activity actually helps White develop faster.
One precise pawn break…
a discovered attack with check…
and the game is over.
