Complete Portrait Edit in Luminar - Every Portrait tool + Advanced Techniques

Editing portraits has never been easier now we have access to Luminar's AI feature-rich portrait editing tools. In this video, I'll walk through the tools involved to get the best results to get your portrait photography looking great. Luminar has a complete processing section dedicated to editing portraits so in this tutorial I walk you through the tools and demonstrate what they do, how best to use them, and potentially which ones you may want to avoid.

There are tools to improve the skin, tools to enhance the facial features, and even tools to reshape someones form (body AI and face AI) we'll look at them all before moving on to a couple of more advanced techniques.

One of Luminar's taglines for the launch of its artificial intelligence based editor is, "simply amazing, amazingly simple". Now while for the most part great results are indeed simple to achieve, occasionally you'll want to take a more manual approach and dive in deeper. At the end of the video, I'll discuss how to use the dodge and burn tools and then show you how to do it in a better way.

I'll also show how the shortcomings of the skin defect removal tool can be overcome with the clone and stamp tool.

Overall we take a portrait from its raw, unedited state, right through to completion.
