In this video, you can see this Semi-Preserved Volvo B1OBLE/Wright Renown formerly owned by Go North East, now in the hands of A-Line Coaches, is seen here departing Heworth Interchange at quite a speed (due to being slightly late) heading to Newcastle to stand in for a failed GNE Crusader bus for the 27 to South Shields. The bus did a few runs to Newcastle and South Shields before giving the service back to Go North East and returning to the depot in Pelaw. With this bus being Semi-Preserved and in the Older GNE livery, it can sometimes be seen at vintage Bus Rallies that take place across the North East along with helping out GNE, should they require an extra bus for a service replacement.
