In this episode of JSM Travel & Tours, we explore why Cavinti, Laguna is known as the Glamping Capital of the Philippines.
We began with a trek and spelunking through the incredible Cavinti Cave, going deep into its chambers and tunnels to admire the rock formations and learn about the natural history of the area. We then hopped on a boat to Duhat Island, a private island getaway perfect for some peace and quiet.
We also visited Nest-t House, a cozy hilltop glamping site known for its charming tree house tiny homes. Then, with Mt. Banahaw in full view, we made our way to Las Caidas, a wellness resort where you can unwind with sound therapy, massages, a hot bath garden, and more. (Bonus: it’s also home to the top-rated restaurant in Cavinti!)
Of course, we couldn’t leave without learning about the iconic Sambalilo straw hats as Cavinti holds the Guinness World Record for the largest one. And to cap off the trip? A relaxing meal at Jinjar Restaurant and Villa—the perfect spot to slow down before heading home.
