When you write a computer programme you’re setting up instructions for the computer to perform tasks. It’s important to get the sequence of those instructions exactly right, in the same way that you follow sets of procedures to get the outcomes you want. For instance, to order pizza, you follow a logical sequence. You contact the pizza shop, you choose a pizza, you tell them your address, then you pay and your pizza is delivered. For the task to be completed correctly, each of those individual actions must follow in sequence otherwise you end up without any pizza. Nightmare!
