Myra Canyon Trestles is a scenic cycling and hiking trail converted from a former section of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR), located southeast of downtown Kelowna, British Columbia. Spanning approximately 12 kilometers, this stretch features 18 iconic wooden trestle bridges and 2 tunnels — making it one of BC’s most breathtaking historical rail trails.
There are two main access points: Myra Station on the east side, and Ruth Station parking lot on the west. For those without their own bikes, rentals are conveniently available at the Myra Station entrance.
We brought our own bikes and started from Myra Station, riding westward. That means we encountered the trestles in reverse order — starting from Trestle #18 and cycling toward Trestle #1.
Along the way, the views are absolutely stunning. One side of the trail hugs the steep canyon walls, offering wide-open vistas of the valley below. Some of the trestles span deep gorges and rise dramatically above the forest, their wooden frames glowing in the sunlight — a striking combination of natural beauty and historical craftsmanship.
The trail is mostly flat and easy to ride, making it perfect for all skill levels. It’s truly a must-do ride if you’re in the Kelowna area.
Myra Canyon Trestles 是 Kettle Valley Railway（KVR）位於 Kelowna 市區東南方的一段舊鐵道改建而成的自行車或健行步道。這條路線全長大約 12 公里，沿途包含了 18 座經典的木造棧橋和 2 座隧道，是 BC 省最具代表性的鐵道景觀之一。
這條路線有兩個出入口：東側的 Myra Station 和西側的 Ruth Station 停車場。其中東邊的 Myra Station 設有腳踏車租借點，對沒有自備裝備的遊客非常方便。
這次我們是自行攜帶腳踏車，從 Myra Station 出發，沿著原本 KVR 鐵道的路線一路騎行，棧橋的編號是從 Trestle #18 開始，往 Trestle #1 的方向前進。
沿途的風景非常壯觀，大多數車道一側是深谷，視野開闊、山勢遼闊。而那些橫跨山谷的棧橋，有的高聳入雲，橋下就是深不見底的峽谷，木造結構在陽光照耀下顯得特別壯麗與懷舊。
整體騎乘路線平坦且安全，是一條結合歷史與自然的經典行程，非常推薦！
