Established in 1992, Kakuma Refugee Camp in northern Kenya now has a total population of more than 170,000 people from 21 different countries. The refugees often arrive with injuries and horrific stories after fleeing their homelands because of persecution, hunger or war. They have relative safety at the camp, but life is idle and the living conditions are squalid and increasingly crowded. This 360 video by Newshub's Michael Morrah shows monthly food rations being distributed at a UN World Food Programme tent.
