This BMW triple is a bit of a sleeper–or at least a side-sleeper. In a time of twins, BMW rethought its horizontally opposed boxer-twin powertrain, with a a longitudinally mounted (inline-three in this case), and produced a ultra smooth, and as Sayre would put it–highly adequate motorbike.
