Let's Compare my BIG Bass "G3" flutes. Nipomo Flutes & High Spirits Flutes

My Nipomo Flutes "G3" has a bore diameter of 1 1/2"
My High Spirits Flutes "G3" has a bore diameter of 1 3/4" plus a "choke"

The High Spirits "G3" is a little bit louder than the Nipomo "G3"
High Spirits "G3" is a LOT more stable on the lowest note than the Nipomo "G3"
The Nipomo Flute sounds a little "Flutier" ...the High Spirits Flute sounds a little "Bassier" to me.

The Nipomo Flutes BIG Bass Flutes, A or G, seem to have more than doubled in price since I made my purchase years ago. High Spirits Flutes does NOT offer their Contra Bass Series at the time of this video release.
Another Flute Maker to consider for this type of flute would be 4 Wind Flutes by Brad Young!

Which one do YOU like more....and Why?

All audio was captured through my Comica Boom XD Wireless Mic system. The Flute portions were moved to GarageBand to add a tiny bit of "Ambience" to the "Dry" sound comparisons plus the reverb & delay for that section. In both of these cases both flutes were "treated" exactly the same!
