Koi no Yukue - My Dress-up Darling ED [Piano Cover]

Hello everyone!

I'm back again with another song from Dress-up Darling! I think I have a problem because I've watched the show 3 times now and might even watch it a fourth time 😅

I initially wasn't going to cover the ED since I kept skipping it to watch the next episode sooner but after watching Anime Pro's arrangement, I was really inspired to learn the ED as well. He writes really good left-hand accompaniments and captured the sorta groovy nature of the song really well so that was a lot of fun to play, especially at the beginning. You can really hear the "kyun kyun kyun" at 0:05 so I tried to emphasise it as much as possible. It's a shame he didn't arrange a full version and even though it's 5 pages - the last 3 pages is just a repeat of the first 2 :/ In the end, I decided to do a mash-up with Ru's arrangement as well since her one fits the quieter parts of the song really well! I also included an original section for the 3rd chorus at 2:46 which is just a variation on Anime Pro's chorus since I wanted the accompaniment in the original song to be more obvious.

I had quite a few camera problems during this recording as I forgot to press record which ruined 2 perfectly good takes :( In the final take, 0:02 had some weird jump which I'm not sure if I'm at fault or the camera but it sorta reminds me of the beginning of Animenz's Giorno's Theme video where his hands moved really quickly haha

This mash-up was a lot of fun and I want to do more in the future! Recently I've been listening to the Horimiya OST and have been considering doing that for the OP so I'll be sure to do that soon.

Next video will finally be another Animenz arrangement - Sakayume =D

P.S. I recently found out that Animenz and TheIshter have played on my piano from watching ChaconneScott's video (   • Oct 15th 2018 Melbourne - Masterclass with...  ) :O

Makes me appreciate it even more knowing my favourite pianists have also played on it!
