Visitors to the city often explore the ” five neighborhoods and districts that are within a five-mile stretch of High Street. These neighborhoods include the Short North Arts District, the Arena District, picturesque German Village, Downtown, and the University District, home to The Ohio State University. For today’s journey my father and I will begin our full day tour of the Columbus Zoo - home to dozens of exotic animal exhibits, savannah experiences, aquarium, and several aviaries with birds from around the world. This was truly a remarkable experience that I surely won’t forget, and highly recommend to anyone looking for something exciting to do while spending time in the area. The Zoo is categorized by 8 different sections: Adventure Cove, Heart of Africa, Asia Quest, North America Trek, Australia & Islands, Polar Frontier, Congo Expedition & lastly Shores & Aquarium. As you can see there is something here for the entire family, and I recommend spending two full days at the zoo to take it all in.
