In this Kathmandu to Bandipur & Pokhara road trip (Ep 8), we visit the Italy of Nepal! We explore the beautiful heritage market of Bandipur, witness the mighty Annapurna snow-capped peak, and finally reach Pokhara for the night.
After leaving Kathmandu, we drove our Nexon EV to the hilltop settlement of Bandipur. This town is a living museum of Newari culture with a distinct European feel, often compared to an Italian village. We spent the afternoon clicking photos of the heritage architecture, sipping coffee at local cafes, and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
As the sun set, we continued our journey toward the lakeside city of Pokhara. In this video, we share our arrival in Pokhara, our hotel stay, and our upcoming travel plans for the mountains!
