Themed to Universal's Monsters, Monsters Unchained takes place in Darkmoor, where Victoria Frankenstein carries on her great-grandfather's legacy in bringing back the dead and controlling the monsters that prowl in the darkness. The attraction follows Victoria's plan to finally control Dracula once and for all, just like all of the other monsters before. Following her experimentation, guests are led to their vehicles, where Ygor steers them deeper into the catacombs, but not before Dracula escapes and creates havoc, releasing all of the other experiments and test subjects in the process. Monsters Unchained features multiple advanced Audio-Animatronics, projection mapping, and loud sounds, which may be frightening to little kids. Monsters Unchained, just like many of the other attractions at Universal Epic Universe, is a completely unique and exclusive attraction at Epic Universe.
