After a 15-year break since the release of D-Pad Hero 2, @andped and I are feeling refreshed and ready to tackle D-Pad Hero 3 - and this time we're targeting Game Boy!
This is just an early tech demo running on a stripped down copy of the D-Pad Hero 2 engine. We want to get a feel for what can be done within Game Boy's screen resolution (160x144 pixels). Once we have decided on the core game mechanics, we will proceed to implement the engine on Game Boy.
One significant difference from D-Pad Hero 1 and 2 is that the targets ("level data") are generated pseudo-randomly. This should greatly improve the replay value.
