The system was commissioned in 1993 to facilitate the journeys residents living in the hills to the MTR. It is 800m long and about 45 floors in height, that's literally a skyscraper. It has become one of Hong Kong's tourist attractions and is home to many interesting and unique bars and cafes. Definitely a must-see when in Hong Kong.
