This list is built around maintaining steady pressure through Leafeon EX’s energy acceleration and Rillaboom’s control ability. Leafeon EX provides a consistent stream of Grass Energy each turn, allowing Rillaboom to reach its four-energy attack requirement much earlier than it normally would.
Once Rillaboom is set up its ability lets you flip a coin once per turn and, on heads, choose which of your opponent’s Pokémon becomes Active. Being able to force specific targets forward gives this deck reliable lines of play and lets you focus damage exactly where you need it.
