This is my first experiment to integrate more computing, including simulation, machine learning, AI (and generative AI) to the content of my channel. I hope it serves the purpose of having people contemplate the nature of conflict, and the profound consequences of it, were it ever to spiral out of hand.

The story I'm trying to tell here, like my work with Warno, is a portrait of a hypothetical Cold War gone hot. I will delve deeper into this and try to improve on the underlying models used to make each version better. I will also integrate this into my other projects, including my Unreal project and the Warno Cinematics, as well as others I've not announced yet.

I was highly influenced by movies like Red Dawn, games like Warno, World in Conflict, and books that dealt with the topic, especially those that posited a Soviet invasion of North America (which was highly improbable). Still, you'll note that the landscape here is reminiscent of the Midwest, and cities of the Midwest. This was done more for symbolism and less realism.

We see the conflict start conventional, but as inevitably happens, nuclear weapons are deployed as the situation gets desperate. The theory of nuclear war or limited nuclear war is absurd, and I hope to investigate the supposed "analytic rigor" of these notions in the future. Suffice to say, a war between any of the great powers is likely to see nuclear weapons deployed at some point, at which point, all sides will have likely lost control.
