This video focus on the harvest of potatoes and sugar beet, grass, tillage, soil preparation and drilling winter cereals in the Netherlands during autumn 2025. The Netherlands has some very good farming soils, but these have to be farmed with great care. Thanks to a higher water table the soil cannot take a lot of weight, especially when conditions are wet. This is one of the reasons why central tyre inflation systems (CTIS) are becoming increasingly popular. Dutch farmers are renowned for their vegetable farming, growing crops such as: (seed) potatoes, onions, carrots and more.
